Effekt av salt og teleskader på gang- og sykkelveger, en litteraturstudie
Abstract
I Trondheim har man de siste årene sett en forverring av dekketilstanden på gang- og sykkelveger, blant annet ved telehiv og krakelering/oppsprekking av asfalt. I den forbindelse har det blitt stilt spørsmål om salting kan være årsaken til disse teleskadene. Foreliggende litteraturstudie belyser eksisterende kunnskap om telehiv, teleløsning og rollen salt spiller i disse prosessene. Det er vanskelig å gi en entydig konklusjon på saltets effekt på telehiv. Årsaken til dette er en kombinasjon av at det finnes flere ulike teorier knyttet til hvordan telehiv oppstår og hvordan saltets tilstedeværelse kan endre de grunnleggende prinsippene som er med på å danne islinser i de ulike teoriene, i tillegg til at det har det blitt funnet lite forskning som belyser denne spesifikke problemstillingen.
Litteraturen viser at salt kan ha en negativ innvirkning på asfaltens levetid, men pr. i dag foreligger det for lite forskning på temaet til at det er mulig å trekke noen konklusjon. Sammen med økt trafikk med tunge kjøretøyer på gang- og sykkelvegene på grunn av hyppigere tiltak, er det sannsynlig at saltet ikke er den eneste årsakene til teleskadene. Mer forskning på sammenhengen mellom salt og telehiv er nødvendig for å forstå hvordan teleskader skal forebygges i framtiden.
