30 years cooperation in the road sector Botswana – Norway

Abstract

The Roads Department (RD) and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) would like to acknowledge previous and current staff within the road administrations as well as other contributors both in Botswana and Norway whose dedication, support and expertise have made this document possible. Notable thanks are paid to MarieWinsvold who compiled inputs from Botswana and Norway, worked out the first draft chapters and collected photos for this report. In particular acknowledgement is made to Rolf Johansen who has drafted a well-structured document in a thorough manner. This document has also benefited from inputs by key personnel working within the road sector in Botswana: Armando Lionjanga, Ephraim Masimega, Barry Kemsley, Boitshwarelo Mokgethi, and in Norway Kjell Levik, Ørnulf Strøm, Carl Gabrielsen, Ola Omenås and Charles Øverby, the latter who did the final corrections and proof reading together with coordinating the inputs between RD and NPRA as well as contributing with a number of photos.
